The Pels Law is excited to welcome Isabella Pastore, who is a third-year student at the Catholic University of America Columbus School of Law. Originally from Reading, Massachusetts, Isabella has been in Washington, D.C. since 2020. She received a B.A. in Politics with minors in Sociology and Communications from Catholic University as well.

Isabella sought an internship at Pels Law to gain experience with and learn from professionals engaged in robust civil litigation at a fast-paced, firm environment, and hopes to learn more about what goes into the representation of clients at all stages of their cases. In her time at Pels Law so far, Isabella has assisted in document preparation; observed proceedings, such as mediation sessions, with clients; conducted legal and factual research; and assisted in preparing an appellate filing under the supervision of Pels Law attorneys Nina Basu, Maria Leonard Olsen, and Jesus Zelaya. “I’m very excited to be at Pels Law for the semester, and especially looking forward to working in a fast-paced, firm environment,” says Isabella.

In her free time, Isabella enjoys cooking, going on walks, and spending time with friends and family. We are lucky to have Isabella at Pels Law!
